Hopefully you all got chance to join us on Monday evening for our exciting #Project2030 virtual launch party, or have caught the recording and had the chance to see what developments and innovation we have been busy working on across The Verve Group over the past 10 weeks since we have been in lockdown.
As with many other businesses across many other industries, the current issues facing us have given us the time to think about our current business, the services we offer to clients and the changes we need to make to thrive in a post Covid world. We believe that the pace of change will be accelerated so much faster due to the crisis, with many of us quickly adapting to new ways of working and embracing technology like never before. Of course, we want to continue to deliver the same great service to clients, but the aim of #Project2030 is to improve those services by incorporating more technology and innovation to all aspects of the business and making changes we maybe would have made in years to come, much, much sooner.
One of the key parts of Apricity is the system that clients use to help them manage their day to day compliance requirements. Ironically, at the beginning of the year as the Apricity team began to grow, we decided to start rolling out face to face visits! Thankfully when lockdown happened it didn’t affect us a great deal and it was a reminder as to why we started in the first place, that we had a vision of being able to provide market leading compliance support online, at the touch of a button. We didn’t see the value in a firm waiting for an annual visit to ask important questions and get files checked. So, the technology was built and the support complimented that; and whilst we’ve always had big plans for the technology long term, now is the perfect opportunity to really move it forward.
To help us do that we have now launched our very first focus group; exclusively for clients with the aim of you helping us to create a piece of compliance software for the future and we have now recruited an in house software team to help with this. Of course, we have been busy making some changes already, which are now live! The changes include refreshed and updated annual testing, a whole new knowledge base full of documents and templates written with common sense in mind and following much demand from clients for us to provide them, we now have a brand new suite of suitability report templates.
Another key feature of Apricity is the personal service that we provide to manage clients alongside the technology. So, in addition to the changes we plan to make to the tech, we’ve also re-designed the way we deliver our ongoing support by enhancing the content of quarterly reviews to make sure that they are more tailored to each individual firm and delivered in a visual and easy to understand way that makes your ongoing compliance requirements a breeze.
And of course, there are also our CPD events which we initially had to postpone as soon as we went into lockdown, but the events calendar is back with some new content and new ways of delivering your CPD to you in an engaging and interactive way, all in the comfort of your own home. For our MASTER events we’ll send you out materials to work through on the day, and you can break off into virtual study groups with your peers so you work together and learn from them in the same ways that you would if you were sat in the same room. These events are already proving to be very popular! You can see full details over on the Apricity events page.
So, just a few ideas to keep us busy over the coming months, all designed with our clients in mind and with the aim of moving financial services forward.
