When we asked advisers what they were missing most about face to face events, the answer was unanimous; the networking and sharing of best practice. With this in mind, we have structured our TALK webinars to include just that.

Each one is an hour long and will feature two industry-leading speakers, both sharing expert content on a specific theme within their field, but from two different points of view. During the session, delegates will be split off into working groups to discuss and share best practice – bringing back that much-desired networking.

What are we talking about?

Client testimonials are vital to any business – with word of mouth being one of the most proven ways of attracting new clients, having good quality testimonials is crucial. In this session, we’ll be discussing the do’s and don’ts when it comes to gaining your social proof.

We’ll discuss:

  • How to approach clients for testimonials.
  • How to get the most out of them once you have them.
  • The do’s and don’ts on the type of testimonials you should be acquiring.
  • How to take your social proof to the next level.

You will get the opportunity to discuss best practice with other delegates.

Who’s talking?

We’ll be joined by The Yardstick’s Founder and Director, Phil Bray and The Verve Group’s Director of Culture and Engagement, Natalie Bell.

Phil has worked in financial services for over 20 years. He was head of marketing at a financial planning practice and network before setting up The Yardstick Agency in 2017. Phil had three aims when setting up The Yardstick Agency; to help more consumers connect with financial advisers and planners, to help advisers and planners market themselves more effectively and to provide jobs in Nottingham.

Natalie is responsible for all things ‘staff engagement’ across the group. A creative individual with a background in communications, engagement and coaching, Natalie puts her engagement skills to the test by helping us to manage our growth.
