GROW: Professional Development (Q1)
This is our next round of workshops, where we aim to educate, motivate and inspire – with some CPD credits thrown in for good measure. Our workshops are not about ‘ticking the CPD box’ – we make sure these half days are of relevance and genuine use to you and your business, and are worth the valuable time out of the office.
What will it cover?
Each quarter, the workshops will cover a range of subjects, and will be focused on relevant and topical matters that are affecting advisers at that time.
Our Q1 workshops will focus on:
|9.00 – 9.45||Regulatory update and outlook|
|9.45 – 10.30||Session led by Paul Thomson-Clark from Intelliflo – e-Adviser & Digital Engagement
Intelliflo will present their research and findings from their eAdviser Index, giving valuable insights into how using technology can affect an adviser’s client base, revenue and other factors. The session will also provide you with practical tips on how to adopt more technology into your business to achieve more positive results.
|10.30 – 10.45||Refreshment break|
|10.45 – 11.30||Session led by Darren Lowry from Nucleus – Platform Due Diligence – A Fresh Look
The platform market has grown significantly in the last five years. At the same time, there have been many changes, including customer needs and demands, and increased regulation. Platform due diligence has become a growing focus for the regulators and the need to document platform selection against customer segmentation and needs, is critical.
This interactive session from Nucleus will explore the six key elements to support your platform due diligence and through that process, discuss these questions:
|11.30 – 12.15||Session led by Neil Bage Founder and Director of Behavioural Insights, Be-IQ
This presentation will focus on our evolution and the behaviours that impact our every decision. It will highlight those key behaviours that play a fundamental role in financial success and suggest practical ways of using this behavioural insight for the benefit of customers.
|12.15||Close and lunch|
