An evening of celebration…
Last Friday marked our first official Christmas party as part of The Verve Group – and we certainly celebrated in style! As we’re approaching the roaring 20’s once more, what better theme but The Great Gatsby? It was an evening full of glitz, glamour and of course, our annual staff awards.
The awards were across the full group, but we’ve done a little round-up of our Apricity winners below…
This award was voted for by the managers across The Verve Group. The full team consists of 40 people, so to whittle it down to just one winner must certainly have been a challenge. However, it was no surprise to the Apricity team that the winner was our lovely Junior Compliance Support, Hannah Scott.
Described as ‘a little star’ by her fellow colleagues, Hannah has grown in confidence and in skill set over the last year, and is a pillar of support to not only the Apricity team, but to the entire Verve Group.
Hannah was also nominated for the Apricity Players’ Player award – proving how recognised she is across the team for her hard work and dedication. She is currently working towards her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and doing so with a smile on her face, making her the perfect role model for our graduate compliance support team members.
Congratulations to Hannah – this award is very well deserved!
Apricity Players’ Player
This award was voted for by the Apricity team, with the criteria being someone who is a real team player and always has their colleagues back. There was a clear winner in our eyes and this was our Compliance Manager, Paul Taylor.
Paul has had an incredible year and has stepped out of his comfort zone more times than we can even count. From presenting SM&CR workshops, not only just for Apricity but Nucleus too, to hosting SM&CR implementation days for our clients and also, squeezing in multiple webinars throughout the year – it’s safe to say he’s probably ready for the Christmas break!
Paul has faced each challenge with a positive attitude every time and always goes above and beyond for the team. Described as being able to shed light on any situation, Paul is the definition of a team player and we’re very proud!
And that’s it for another year! If you’d like to see who won the other awards from the night then you can do so by reading this blog from our sister company, Para-Sols.
